In the effort to keep everyone up to date on our progress and journey, I felt it appropriate to start this blog.
For those of you who don't know the story here you go... I am 32 weeks pregnant with twins and it all started about a year ago. I was having some trouble and ended up at the specialist.. We were literally standing on the door step of fertility last Winter and decided to give it one more shot.. (no pun intended) and well turns out I ended up getting pregnant.
Everything was going along fine, except the incredible nausea.. This was extremely frustrtating because I ddin't have any of this with my first pregnancy but thats okay. We went to our twelve week ultrasound and it something that normally takes 20mins took 45. The tech was great and then she turned to me and asked if we had a little girl or boy at home. I indicated we had Emma and she said, you are having twins. Shocked... yes. I shook for three days.... I shouldn't have been as this will be the sixth set of twins in the two previous generations and my generation in my family. Yes you read that right sixth set.
So we have had some ups and downs during the pregnancy but overall can't complain. We spent some time at Mac and have had more ultrasounds than I may have had with a singleton pregnancy. But here is the latest update. I'm past 32 weeks.. Hooray, means I likely will get to deliver at the local hosptial here rather than Mac. The babies are growing well and so am I. They are rascals and it should be interesting to see how things will develop once they are here. So.... I hope you enjoy following our journey. It will be interesting i'm sure.......
